Click Clever Click Safe

The UK Council for Child Internet Safety has developed the Click Clever Click Safe campaign. As an online company we are keen to ensure all our students remain safe when on the web.

The Click Clever Click Safe campaign provides an everyday reminder of simple good behaviours to help you and your children avoid common risks online and contains specific advice for both parents and young people.

The campaign is based around 3 simple and easy to remember principles:

Zip It – Block It – Flag It

• Zip It - Keep your personal stuff private and think about what you say and do online.
• Block It - Block people who send nasty messages and don't open unknown links and attachments.
• Flag It - Flag up with someone you trust if anything upsets you or if someone asks to meet you offline.

It includes simple and practical advice for both parents and young people and is easily accessed via Directgov here

It is well worth a look just to be sure that you are doing all you can to protect yourself and your children and to check there isn’t something you have missed or never knew about.
